This one looks like one of those that's on the airport from flooding.

I'd like to see someone get this one out and get it back on the road.

Kevin, I seen a lot of door panels in there for you.

GMAN, the last black 98 looks like something for you to work with. Sapper, you too. Might be an easy fix with very little parts.

The grey 98 with black interior looks fixable too....

Sad to see all of those marks just gone to waste more than likely. Its funny to think that there where only 126k made all together. And at the moment maybe half still in action. Beginning to be a rare ride.

I almost audibly gasped at the sight of the midnight grey car :( hurt seeing a t red car like that too

I like those two clean low mile 1st gens..there was a willow green 95 like mine in there too..these are all auction cars though correct? I wouldn't even know how to get ahold of some of those scrap yards to ask about certain parts for sale.

I could use the black neon , and those black seats ..

I bet not even half of the Marks made are still around.
We definitely see more damage happening to them than progress threads

Also what color is this? According to .org there is no "FT" exterior paint code. It says its a 98 and the build date of 10/97 confirms it would be an early 98..the paint looks like the medium charcoal green however the mark viii facts list that color as "PZ"

What's the deal? Are these facts on LOD or markviii.org not 100% correct?

Car is listed twice..here's the other link which shows the color better

could that be? looks like the emblem outlives the car :D

Maybe the auction place will know and tell the name of the yard they're in.

Kevin, I would have to say they have a color code missing from the chart. Really not missing but it isn't really laid out as a color and then again, it is I guess. They just have the date wrong. I mean, you see it plain as day and in two separate listings, "FT" so, it is a Mark color but just isn't listed correctly on .org. Honestly it looks like the normal "PA" Deep Jewel Green but in a Gen 2 version and they probably added just a hint more or less green or more or less metal flake. It may even be the same exact color but since it's a Gen 2, they decided to also change the color code too, just like they changed the headlights, manifold, etc... Kinda make sense? This part on .org is apparently wrong or Ford put the wrong sticker on a car lol. I don't see Ford doing that. My question is, why did they just not leave the color code as "PZ"and leave "FT" out of it all together?

"1998 ONLY After 1/1/98 FT" but that car clearly shows to be made on 10/97

Got this one too but it is 2/98 and that would make the "FT" correct, according to .org.

I posted the grey car before, no one jumped on it.

Is that my old midnight grey 98?

Check it out and see if you were one of the owners. I'm sure it was though.

This is for the grey one. 1998 ONLY After 1/1/98 TV! I don't get why they changed color codes, especially with it being the last year. Just leave well enough alone. "PZ" would have been just fine being left as it was. Anyway, Mike, I bet that was yours. These Marks get around from one side of the US to the other. I flew to Florida and got mine from Jamie and 2 weeks later, he went way up North and got his 97 and now I think it went to Colorado?, I think... They do get around more than most people would think.
