Hello people.

I had this BMW since April and since I tinted the windows and put euro lights in the front and in the back.

wow... that is pretty impressive.. looks like a fun car to drive... i think i do want a beamer next... i have my eyes on the 04 and up 545`s cant afford the 07 550`s though.. not yet anyway. nice car..

Thanks man. Yea, the 550i Sport is soooo good, I drove an automatic one once and that car is just plain power. It had 275 tires in the back and it would burn em thoughout the first gear with three people inside without breaking a sweat.

But they are ridiculously expensive, about $65-70k for a good one, what the hell?

oh yeh.. i would love to get one .. but i`ll stick with the 545`s for now.. either that or the 03 and up e500.. can't afford the e55 .. i`m just tryin to have some options for when i`m ready to buy again.. my wife really wants a 745 but i would rather have an 05 5 series than an 02 7 series. only time will tell though.

E500 is really nice too, I drove one recently. Had a very nice power and was very comfortable, but was a little bit too comfortable for me. It feels more like driving a fast minivan. I would go with 545i. Or if you are in the that price range, you could look at 00-03 M5. You can get one for about $35,000 and up. Helluva fun car.

The 7 series is really nice, but too complicated. I wouldn't want to pay for it's repairs.

Ehhh. Around here every secretary, bank teller or college chick has one of those BMW's. Seem to just blend in. Also the video didnt do too much for me. From what i could tell its a manual. Didnt seem like anything different that a V6 manual LS couldnt do. For me, if i was going to do a second car for playing it would be a car with some serious balls.

That's true, there is bunch of these cars around. They are good that's why there are so many of them. If they weren't good, nobody would buy em. My LS is soon gonna go and this BMW is gonna stay for some time. By the way, this is an automatic. Also, I don't want a super fast car, I am scared of tickets. But I think the replacement for my LS will be an 03 and up CL Mercedes, maybe in a year or so. CL600 or a CL500 will do just as fine.

On another board, I someone refer to the plethora of BMW 3-Series (especially those in CA and FL) as "Accords for rich people".

I live in Chicago and vacation in LA and San Diego twice a year. Cali is the land of BMW's, they are everywhere!! Nice car Arthur!

A 99 328i post similar 0-60-100 and 1/4 times as an 00-02 V8 LS .

I'm pretty sure the straight six in the 330 would give the 03 and up LS a run for its money,... not to mention handle better.

Tho they are common, and the interiors (design, IMO) are less than the superb.


Nice car, BTW, I like that color... You should have your bumperstrips chromed.

Nice car, I see as many of those as LS's so who cares. I know I'd give the LS up for one.
