Ok, i just put a stereo in my cousin's Mark VII. It gets power but no sound is coming out. I know the stereo isn't the problem because i put it in mine and it worked fine. Has anyone else had this problem? How did you fix it?
I'm guessing i didn't because i just got a wiring kit from walmart and attached it to the new stereo. Can you tell me how to bypass it??Jibit said:are you trying to run the speakers through the factory amp, or did you bypass it?

You have the right idea but I'm not too sure that'll work. First, I don't think the amp has RCA inputs. Second, I'm not sure if the line level would be correct. Let me look around and get back to you.Jo88 said:Ok, because i dont nearly as much about car stereos as i should..would this work without rewiring or am i reading the description wrong?

Trial and error will show you which fuse it is and I STONGLY SUGGEST that you don't cut ANY wires in your (Cousin's) Mark VII.Jo88 said:Ok, so now i know what i got, i got me a stock amp in back between the deck speakers, isnt there just a way to cut off the wires going int and out and connect them bypassing the amp??
also, if i knew which fuse to take out i would try it..
