Southern Ohio and surrounding Meet (yup im ready for another!)

We could always hit up old mans cave . There's another place that's seldom visited. I think it was rock house, or cantwell cliffs . Great place to visit towards southern Ohio.

It's in hocking hills. There's like five or six different parks with gorgeous trails and sort of cave like areas. I went there a few years ago for the weekend. Took my dog and walked around. I got some great pics. If I can find them I'll post some.

Columbus is a good 3.5-4 hours from me, but depending on the date I'll consider it.

Same here dude... :( that drive killed me and my brother had to work that morning lol and I had to work that night of the last one so I need to do more planning if I go! lol

Sweet! So where does everyone want to meet ? I've offered up a few suggestions. Another is we could bomb my towns Labor Day fest. It's not much . They always have a small car show. Ill take care of everything for those who might want to enter their LS. That is if that's what we plan to do. I haven't went for the past 4 or 5 years but it might be cool to have a few entered!

I can do this weekend if that is what the group agrees to. Columbus is fine. Tuesday is when the car goes in for the new engine so the following weekend would be a no go for me. But I would still ride the bike up to meet everyone and see the cars.

There's also 2 shows on 9/18 one in Groveport, $15. Registration. Get$5 off if you register in groups of 3+
9/18 Car, truck, motorcycle show in Lancaster .
On 9/24 in continental, Ohio 6 th annual fall fest car show.
With 30 second burn out contest following the show.

Sundays are no good for me, but I could probably at least meet up for some pics on 9/18 if the group is cool with that??? Short will you have you car fixed by then?

Well I got it cleaned up to where I can live with out getting it fixed immediately I still might remove the rear valence and take it to the shop. Lol then all you guys could see my auto body expertise! Or lack there of!! Lol

Stangman I see so many mark viii's here in Columbus its ridiculous! You should stop and tell anyone w a mark about LVC! That's what I do with people in LSs. I don't know if it does any good. Ya know!

Apparently there's a bar in Columbus also called The Village Idiot. Just thought I'd throw that in.

here are some of the pics i took of Rock House in hocking hills.

that place has really good German food... They will actually be at the Berea Fairground's Oktoberfest this weekend.

Will the original host of this thread put up some dates and let's vote to see what date has the best response? It may be more effective at this point to do so.

Been waiting to come to cbus to go there for awhile now

Great idea! But Columbus is having their Oktoberfest on the 24 th and 25 th. I highly doubt we'll be able to find parking for one car on the same block. Let alone multiple cars. I won't even get into the difficulty of getting a table! They don't take reservations.:confused:On the other hand, they do have two banquet rooms. A minimum of 15 people. Max 110 (LOL!) And the cost of the room is 18% of the food. Oh yeah, and a whopping 15% gratuity added in for your convenience ! So I don't see this being an option.

Maybe the following weekend October 1st.?

I called Schmidt's today to ask them about their usual Oktoberfest traffic. Good news. They moved the festival North about 8 miles from Gerbil Village. Oh I ment German Village. :D They don't get nearly as much business as they use to. They're usually fairly busy on Saturday but it's not that bad.
So we have Saturday, September 20 th @
Schmidt's Sausage Haus
240 E Kossuth St,
Columbus, Ohio 43206.
Everyone cool with that?
