yeah i was looking at the clear side markers last night.. as long as you ignore their "sport" reference, and only see if its for the chrome or non chrome bumper, you'll be all set. (mine has sport suspension, but also has chrome, so i want their non-sport side markers)

i see chrome on your bumpers. if you also have 17's then its probably sport suspension. Only way to be sure is to measure your bar with some calipers. Just turn your wheels all the way to the right (while rolling) and then just stop and put it in park. You'll be able to reach right in the passenger side and measure it.
 
It Had 17" wen i first got it, so i'm thinking its a sport then? mmm i'm gonna have too look into it...

The premium trim level was not introduced until the 2001 model so the 2000 model had two trim levels: Base and Sport.

I think the LS's don't look sporty unless they have the spoiler. I think they just look like any other family 4 door. Personal preference though
 
I wasn't saying i didn'tlike all spoilers, just the gen 1 spoiler. I like the small M spoiler. And on the right car, the WW spoiler with the rest of the kit looks nice too.

Thats why I said it was a personal preference because I think that ANY of those M spoilers look like $hit no matter what car they are on. I think cheap double sided taped spoilers are garbage but once again that is just my opinion and you are entitled to your opinion

Everybody and everything states that the sport has no chrome and the non sport does.


I guess my dealership will also tell me they can do a performance flash for me to huh. And don't give me no :q:q:q:q saying you didn't say that cause the original post you made in that thread did say it has been flashed for performance no matter what your story changed to.


You have to be the biggest childish loser on this site. Not only do they label the bumpers as the sport or non sport pckages do to chrome trim but like pektel said they also do it with the bumper lens as well buddy.

Tell me why months and even years of threads on this subject have now been proven wrong by you? You even prove the vendors and the distributors that sell the parts for these cars wrong!

Tell me how many other styles of wings or even better tell me how many kits in general don't use double sided tape.

Better make sure it gets bolted down before you use that bench for down force.
 
I guess it would serve its purpose wouldn't it, but then again its kind of cheap!

The 02 LSE wing came taped on from the factory, the 04-05LSE wing came taped on from the factory. I asked my friend who is a BMW tech if their cars are taped on and he said most of their spoilers on their newer cars are all taped on. Dont get me wrong, some are bolted on like the Mustangs but YES spoilers now a days do come taped on. I had to remove a taped on wing off my LS a few years back and it was not easy to get off, I can now see why they tape them.

Dont get me wrong some are bolted on, but a whole lot of them are used with double sided tape.



Dont tell that to him though, he might be learning something. Most lip kits and spoilers are double sided taped on with the option to bolt it on if you feel you need to ( usualy around the fender well for added suport ). If you get a real full body kit that replaces the bumpers and all you then must drill your own holes into the bumper for the factory hardware to fit in its place properly.
