Or possibly the guy is a lawyer who always denies everything first just so it can't be used against him in court.

But, yeah with all the issues it sounds like he's just a fukup.

First i'd call the cops. see if theres anything that can be done, or if insurence companies should be contacted.

It will be a pain in the ass but a clay bar or a good solvent will get it off if nothing else can be done.
 
Well I can't really just threaten the guy, He is 57 and retired and only about 150 lbs. Iam 29 6'2 and 250 a lot bigger than him. And as for the cops, my father is a Lt. here. The car is detailed now and cleaned just working on my girls car now.

I agree kicking his ass would feel good .... But then you are in the wrong.

Document everything and get the paint off as soon as possible. Lacquer thinner on a rag will be much easier than a clay bar, but be very careful of the rubber trim and the plastic pieces.
It sounds to me like this guy is just a bone head who doesn't think things through. It may be dum but It might not be on purpose
Dont forget if you go to war with this guy he might start doing things on purpose...and you have to live right next to him.

Cool down when he does stupid sh!t and talk to him with a level head. Never ask if he did something, document and present him with the bills. After a couple of payments he's going think before he acts (small claims court is not expensive either and if you have pics, documents, bills and estimates you will win)


If all else fails, get your dad to shoot him (by mistake)...in the line of duty
 
Well for the update, He did pay for both cars to be cleaned and detailed. But he did strike again though. This time he parked a little to close to the girlfriends car and spider cracked the rear bumper.

I love these suggestions.

"dude, what I would do is obtain some used nuclear waste material, fill up some balloons with it. Then get a surplus Tomahawk cruise missile. I would then steal a predator drone. Attach the Cruise missile to the drone, then scotch tape the balloons to the Tomahawk. Then when he wakes up, launch the drone remotely, fire the tomahawk from the drone, and let the nuclear waste filled ballons totally destroy his place.

Yeah...thats what I would do".

Is it possible you are an Iraq vet with post traumatic stress.... I also checked craigs list for the nuclear waste.... no luck

While your plan is entirely feasable, it may prove difficult to procure some of the key items for your scheme.
