Squeaking left front

I have a 2000 V8 and it seems that I have a squeaking front shock maybe. When I push down on the front end it squeaks when it comes back up. Is this a bad shock or something worse? It is the front driver's side. Thank you for your suggestions.

Mine just started doing it yesterday, I aslo have a 2000 V8. I've had the ball joints replaced and thought I was in the clear, guess not.

I think the problem might be swaybar bushings, search LVC for it, I'm sure you'll find something useful.

Yea I have sorta the same problem when I turn at one point in the turn in always makes a click on the right side they said it might be a ball joint going bad! that :q:q:q:q would suck since i just had one replaced

mine only does it when the engine is warm. My radiator overflowed a couple of times I wonder if water is getting on the springs and causing it to squeak. Shot in the dark.
