I bought a Mark VIII about 2 years ago. Ever since then the Mark VII I own has been slowly moving away from use. The car itself has been sitting for about a year.
I decided to try and get it running today so I replaced the battery, aired the tires back up, let the air ride fill again and tried to start it. She cranked easily and started up. The problem is as soon as I released the key from start back to the defaulted ON position it died instantly.
Whats going on here? I also noticed the windows/sunroof will not move in the on or acc position. I checked all the fuses under the steering wheel (after trying to remember where the hell they were) and they were all solid. I tried looking for that fuel switch in the trunk and was unable to find it (was getting pretty dark) unless its actually behind the panel instead of on it.
Where should I start looking to getting this thing running again?
Sitting in the car, trying to get it to run has caused me to not want to sell it again, but it would be nice to see it run.
