Steering wheel stall

We have a 98 Mark VIII.
We keep getting a popped 30amp engine fuse and we have disconnected the speed sensors been through the car for shorts and even disconnected the module in general and soon as we connect teh senors back popped amp.
after we replaqce the amp we go to start the car all is good but soon as you turn the wheel she stalls it doesn't matter in gear our of gear foot on the brake off the brake..turn the wheel she shuts down!!
Alternator is fine, checked sensors voltage seems to be fine
ANYONE HAVE IDEAS and/or SOLUTIONS??? Thanks!

A little hard to tell with your description but you must be working on the abs system.
Does the car drive fine if you disconnect the abs pump? What do you mean by the 30 amp fuse (what one)?
Did you run abs codes as well?
 
well I FINALLY got everything worked out and my fuel pump is up and running which scared the bugezus out of me just paid $200 for that LOL!
Only issue I am having now is when I go to drive her soon as I turn the wheel she dies, in gear out of gear foot on the brake or not she dies.
 
I had a continental that stalled when I would turn at low speed- for me it ended up being the Power Steering Pressure Switch.
 
My car has stalled one time doing a really hard left turn.

Is there even a power steering pressure switch on these cars, or is this all internal to the pump?
 
I'd release pressure on serptine belt, and spin the ps pulley by hand. If it locked up, and your belt is good, that could stall your car. Still blowing a fuse?
 
no we only blew the fuse when we connected the wheel sensors back but so far so good.
Power Steering Pressure Switch is that on the 98's??
My husband has to work tomorrow so first thing Saturday morning we will dive into her and see if we can't locate this issue. This is his work car so we need to get it fixed asap.
We have other vehicles (6) but they are either not road legal or way to nice to sit at a park and ride all day while he is at work...people damage cars there.

I located the Power Steering Pressure Switch...is there anyway to test it before I go buy a new one?? I have volt meters and all that I just wanted to see if anyone could help educate me on the subject a little more.

Where did you find it? There is not a part number listed for the Marks for a power steering pressure switch I can find...
 
Can anyone maybe tell me how to test the Suspension Control Module to make sure it is working properly or is it better just to find another one?? I took out the lighting control module to check it out...it needs to be cleaned for sure. which I will do soon as I get done with some research on the suspension CM....

I've been talking to a couple of people on the Facebook about this issue and we have came down to the PCM or clock spring BUT since we had the clock spring disconnected and the evo disconnected (in the video) we are kinda going with there is a short somewhere from the wheel down to the engine hence the fuse popping. While that seems to MAYBE be an easy find LOL again this is a Mark VIII.
 
So you Iac isn't increasing rpm when you turn does it increase it when you turn the ac on?
 
Good video. Only does it when turning left (not good for NASCAR). Looks like a shorted wire. Possible the rack? Read a lot of problems with the rack, and turning left. The way it kills the engine, is quick, makes it sound like a short. If the rack messed up, putting an inbalance in the pressure on the pump, I could see where it would stall the engine, but at 4-5K rpm's? Time for the smart guys to jump in and figure this out.

I ordered a video scope tonight hopefully we can find something because after currently owning 4 stangs, LS, and Navigator.....we are at a loss!!! Soooooo frustrated right now there are zero words -_-

Is the car spring converted? "no air ride"
Any wires cut to the Suspension Control Module?
Did the problem start when you replaced the amp or after any work you did to the car?
 
Damn didn't notice it also stalled at rpm, that was while maintaining throttle right? Not holding the throttle open and releasing it.
