Stereo head unit tablet replacement

Had an idea about replacing the stereo unit with an Android tablet. Any of you guys ever try something like this?

yes, but I'd be a little difficult to get sound to the amp you'd have to build a Bluetooth adapter for the amp. Itd be awesome. They have kits to build Bluetooth receivers all you would need is to integrate speakers to it.

I don't know his user name on here (if he has one) but a guy on the Enthuisiast Page on Facebook has done this. He used fiberglass I believe and made a new panel and everything...
