went to put a new stereo in, bought the wiring kit and found that my car has a big grey cord for the speakers, so the connector that came with the kit for the speakers was different, not like the standard ford connector, any suggestions or is there a different kit for the jbl system, thanx

I know the JBL system is different but I'm not sure if the connectors are Personally I'd rewire the entire system. Its the only way to be positive that everything is right.

What are the numbers on the kit?? I bought a Scoshe FDK 106 for my 93 with the JBL and it worked fine.

my strereo has one long ford connector and one square connector that I think is for the speakers

you can go to best buy or someone that installs stereosand get a wire kit for jbl
system make sure they know its jbl thats where i got mine its worked great
