Stock Gen 2 Exhaust Size

Can someone please show me evidence that they have/had a bone stock exhaust that was full 2.25"? I have read over and over that they switched to 2.25" for the entire exhaust on the 2nd gens; after the catalytics my stock 2005 V8 exhaust necks down to 2" all the way back through the mufflers. I have read other folks say basically the same thing and be refuted...

Mine was 2" after the cats and it's an '06. I had 2.5" pipe installed awhile back and didn't really notice any performance difference but the tone of my exhaust is much nicer now.

My '03 is 2" all the way back to the mufflers.

'03 with 2" piping, same as yours.

I thought it was 2 1/4 going by some threads here but when I got to the muffler shop he said it was 2 and he didn't have the right size mufflers so he had to cut some 2 1/4 tube to make a spacer. Next project: At LEAST 2 1/4 from the cats back!
