Strut Rod Bushing Failure

I have had some various SRB failures but as mentioned, yours failed because its in backwards.
 
Glad to know I am not the only one who has parts installed backwards on his car.
 
Why backwards?

This is the RIGHT picture of the MOOG bushings that are installed at the frame. As you can see by the design, they interlock between the frame.
Are you saying I had the bushings on the wrong side of the frame?
 
The male side goes in front. Also Moogs are the worst for SRB in the front. My 98 had some fairly new ones and they were destroyed after a couple thousand miles.

You ONLY USE OEM on the front of the strut rod bushings. In one years time I have done them 4 times cause I didnt listen at first.
 
The male bushing IS in the front.
I got Ford bushings to put back into it. Thats todays project. I'm just a little upset cause now I have to pay another $90 for an alignment.
BTW, I love the color on your Mark.
