Suede Headliner!!!!

I've been wanting to do this for a while now and finally got around to it. I just got my headliner and pillars done in suede. I've always wanted it because I think it makes the car feel more classy while inside. Here are some quick pics I just took, let me know what you guys think.

Looks very hot man, I love that material, also you olny see em in top of the line luxury cars, like, S600 or 760LI or something. Very beautiful.

Yeah thats one of the reasons I got it done. When I was in a 760 I noticed the suede headliner and told myself that I was gonna do the same to my car if I couldn't get the 760.
 
very clean install!!!

you must have money to burn, i never even notice my headliner.

never mind me, i'm jealous because my mortgage sucks up just about every dime i have.

Only $500? I think that's a bargain! I mean, I can't imagine that's a quick job, especially with the quality of the install. Looks incredible.
 
Looks so hot....I would do it but 500 is kinda pricey and also I drive with the windows down and my liner is a little discolored on the c pillars from time to time.....But I agree it looks so good.......
 
That looks really good. Was it real suede or simulated? Pulling the headliner out is not that bad. I basically had it down when I replaced my front and rear dome lights. So, $500 sounds reasonable to me considering they covered the A, B and C pillars too.

This is the exact kind of upgrade that make the guys on LVC stand out above all the rest. A very top quality upgrade for a top class car.

Everyone who says that $500 is pricey, look at what he got for that $500. A very unique look, in a hot car, that will not be copied by everyone. Looks great.

And LikeNew02, sounds like you got the married to the house blues. Nice to have a big beautiful house, but not to the exclusion of being able to enjoy your life.
 
Thanks for all the feedback guys. The price that I got it done at was pretty cheap compared to any other places. I'm pretty good friends with the company that did it so they hooked me up. I like to do things that make me stand out from others. I haven't seen any suede headliners in any LS's and thats what I like.

I went to an upholstery shop today and they said it's gonna be $1100 for my LS, $950 if it didn't have a sunroof.

I gotta find some other place.
 
yeah my buddy hooked me up and I can't complain. For the job he did, i wouldn't be surprised if he would have charged me more
 
i just noticed you wood panels are black, do u have more pics of your interior. ive been thinking about doing this for a while now. also what did u used to do it.
 
I think the 03 and up base LS has black panels instead of wood ones. My friend has an 04 LS base and he has the black ones there.

Also the door panels are not interchangable with the 00-02 models, I think they are different. I am not sure about the dash panels.

They came like that stock. It's perfect because it matches the car color. My friend has a black 03 sport and his has the carbin fiber look to all of the panels where mine are black.

On the 03+ LS models, three interior trims were offered. Wood trim was offered on the "luxury" models; aluminum trim was offered for the sport models, and black lacquer was offered for the base models.
 
hey man, usually the girl on the back seat puts her feet on the roof, but her shoes would be off already...
