Hey guys I have been bite by the lightning bug and want to get one. can you help me out. Does anyone on hear have one? I have been looking for about 3 mo. and have been reading up on them. i would like to get a 2001+ most likely a 03-04. do you know of any for sale? Any help would be great. Is there anything that i should look out for when buying one? Thanks...

On a related note, I just read today that Ford has decided NOT to totally disband SVT. They are going to keep it, but scaled back. They are planning on continuing the build of the GT500 and are adding a truck!!! AWW RIGHT!! No particulars on what the truck will be...or have...but it's good news none the less. Without a doubt, Ford had to have looked at what Mopar was doing with SRT and decided they couldn't afford to give up that market and image. Great news....because a couple of weeks ago, SVT was gone. If you could even get someone to answer the phone, they told you so.

You might look into the website... www.ford-trucks.com in the forums section. It is very similar to this Lincoln website but much bigger and lots of technical stuff. Lots of knowledgable owners and good topics of discussion.

I am almost sure there is a lightning section there. I would guess looking thru that section would give you a good idea of what is good and bad about this model truck.
