Sylvannia Bulbs question.

Are the silverstars really white? or do they still show yellow like the PIAA? I keep buying those "ricer" bulbs and they keep burning out! ugh, I think its because theyre cheaply made. Im thinking of ugrading to the silverstars, any info. Are they worth 50 bucks? How about hoen? Thanks.

I ran both Silverstars and Hoen's before I went with the HID system. I have to say that Hoen was whiter and closer to Xenon than Silverstar. See the picture below as a comparison:

What is in your car in that picture

I don't understand the question. I guess your asking what bulbs. I had the Silverstar in the left side and the low beam had teh 9006 and the fogs had the 9005. The 9005 is the high beam bulb because Sylvania doesn't make the 9145 in the Silverstar. The Hoen side has the Xenonmatch Plus 9006 in the low beam and the Xenonmatch 9145 (or H10) in the fogs.

The All Weather bulb is a yellow bulb similar to what I got off of eBay. I haven't swapped them out yet to see how "yellow" the Hoen's are. However, the Hoen's are suppose to give off an intense amber light.
