Theres some maviricks, one has a 460,lol. There all around 2500 and the one that has a 460 weighs 3000. Pretty damn light weight, is a pinto lighter?

I bought an 88 5.0 for my daughter last year.. It's a great car...

LOL. I luv the late 80's mustangs, U can get tham in the 13's with a few things like exhaust and intake, have fun when shes done, lol.....

The 88 is a nice car
Thats race weight, probably pretty gutted. They weren't that light from the factory. The Pinto I don't think weighed not much more than 2500 factory weight. Could probably be trimmed a bit. From what I heard, or at least thought I've heard over the years was the Pinto weighed the least, Mustang II was a couple hundred pounds heavier. It was a little bigger and had the strut bars in the front suspension mounted to a kinda sub frame, adding weight. Better interior, etc.. The Maverick I think was a frame car. I know the Mustang IIs ranged from 2700 to 3300 depending on 4,6 or 8 motor, A/C or not, ghia model or not, some didn't even come with power steering.
