Tach goes backwards

Errorinous install of the muffler bearings. Someone didnt pay attention to the arrow, damn bearings!

yeah so i was driving her tonight and i went from a dead stop and hit WOT the tach climbed i was excited the car shifted and the tach kept going around the right way went the complete 360 degrees damn thing maybe after Christmas i can get a cluster...errrr

that is what christmas is about I need one but wasnt looking for a handout but do appreciate it I am glad I became a part of this forum its the best one that i am apart of....thanks LVC

Mine had the same problem. Its wasn't what most threads say "number plate slips down". I replaced the tach in my existing cluster from a tach off eBay I go t for $10.00 plus shipping and now it works fine. Good luck. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!! Don't crush 'em restore 'em

woohooo i have a tach again it might not be the most accurate thing but it at least climbs as the revs climb insteadof going backwards thanks KK
