Tail Light Concept

Hey Guys,

I'm considering modding my taillights like this. FYI this is NOT my car. I just did a google search for 03 ls tails to get a good picture. Eventually i'll get a pic of my own but this 5 minute photoshop jobber will do for now just to get the idea.

Whatchya think?

BOO!! That looks like dog S H I T .....There comes a time when you are trying too hard or doing too much bullspit. Might as well make a run to autozone to get a big bolt on APC racing spoiler ,some neons,a fart pipe and some R-acing seat covers while you're at it...you asked just being honest

Hard to say......it may look ok. I'd just stick either with the two tones or the LSE tails.

I'm not even sure if I like it myself. Our options are somewhat limited as far as tail light mods, ya think?

I def did see a Mercedes on the road and thought hhmmm i wonder what that would look like. Eh....on the fence.

why not color match your tails to the carpaint...so they are "hidden" tails?

ya know thats what i wanted to do originally but then i started seeing all the horror stories on here about the blacked out tails melting the plastic and chipping and such. Andrizzle has a pretty recent thread about what I'm refering to. Maybe just a slight darkening of the entire lens?

Had mine blacked out for years with no problems. Maybe it is a gen 2 problem though. Jons tinted tails does great work, although I tinted mine myself.
