Taillight resistor diagram and question

2003 Lincoln ls v8

i just received my resistors and i need to hook them up to my taillights. i do not have LED turn signals, even though i will probably get them soon.

1. which diagram do i use and do i just cut the wires and funnel them thru the blue plastic clasp?

2. do i have to unhook battery, id rather not?

Probably a good idea to unhook the battery. Very simple to do.

If those are not the exact value that I used in my thread along with the same bulbs, they probably wont work.

You'll have to figure out what works with your bulbs if you go with different bulbs.

I'm just going to follow diagram. When my lights are on they won't light up when I hit the brake. So only day time driving. Before tonight my right one always stayed on dim. But I finished my interior led conversion and it went out. Can't help but think the electrics are all intertwined.
