will do...i just did my timing chains and tensioners and gaskets all all the other fun stuff...after the cost of the rebuild i best be sticking around...lol

I would be into purchasing this, however I have the V6 Gen 1.. are there any intakes for the V6?

I dont think there are any intake tubes but you can get the KKM intake kit that comes with the MAF adapter and filter. Or get the Spectre MAF adapter listed on page 1 of this thread and a 4" cone filter.

You are correct, I have some major cleaning..once spring springs...it's been in the 30's all week. I need to do some touch up on the pipe and other things, but I had to get it out of the kitchen..lol

hite337 is there any difference from the stock tube vs the asmi aluminum intake tube? I'm having a hard time deciding to buy the kkm or get the full asmi with k&n kit on ebay (the link you posted).

I prefer the ASMI intake because it really wakes up the throttle response and sounds great.

Hite, you ever ponder the idea of exhaust wrapping the ASMI ? Does get pretty hot that pipe.

yeah, I was on the fence about it as well, that pipe does get mighty hot some days but I suppose the cold air is rushing past it quicker than it can transfer heat from the pipe.

I've been thinking about scuffing mine up to get the non-polished look



... but as always, leave well enough alone, other things need attention and dollars instead.

damn moon roof guides are still busted and I got passenger drain tube off now also.

list never ends ... still waiting on getting some spray at the paint booth.
