taking out the drive shaft

pull all the bolts from the pinion, get in car set park brake put car in gear, immediately put car back in park, that should break its rusty bond. lololololol :eek:

I saw someone do that on a rusty 99 Cobra before.:lol: The really funny thing is that was my exact advice (except put in first and slip clutch) but I was kidding. I left to go get a socket set and some PB Blast and right as I was pulling in I hear the engine rev to 2500 and see the D/S slam into the ground.
He was doing a clutch job but ended up ordering a new drive shaft too. :rlaugh:
 
only thing I would be concerned about is..ANTS.

So long as you dont lie in an ant bed, this should be a fairly painless process.
Sounds like experience talking.
