Here's what my Mark replaced. Laugh if ya want, but Elmo was my good buddy for 12 years:


Had a collector that wanted to give me $1,200 for him, but I also had an old guy that could only handle $900. His wife has MS, he loved old Fords, and he figured the van would be great for loading up his wifes electric wheelchair so they could go camping together and stuff. I sold it to him.

That is awesome.

In 2004 My first 93 Mark VIII (or should I say my wife's) replaced her 1991 Nissan Sentra

About 2 months later I replace my 1995 Chevy Conversion Van
with a 1985 Lincoln Mark VII

Then I replace my 1985 Mark VII seven months later with my 1994 Mark VIII, which I sold to Marked8 and replace with my 1995, which I gave to my son Joe, then we used to build Pepperman's Car.

in 2010 I replace my wife's 1993 Mark VIII with my new 1993 Mark VIII.

I can do some of this better .... LOL

I replaced this my wife's 1991 Nissan Sentra

With her 1993 Lincoln Mark VIII in June of 2004

Then I replace my 1995 Chevy Conversion Van in July of 2004

with my 1985 Lincoln Mark VII

Only to replace my Mark VII with a 1994 Mark VIII in Feb of 2005

Then Replaced my 1994 in March of 2005 with my 1995 Mark VIII

Which became Pepperman's Car

In 2010 I replace my wife's 1993 with my 1993 Mark VIII

Went from my 93 gmc sierra 1500 (no pics) to my 97 thunderbird..

Then to my 04 impala..she was thee cleanest gold impala around..

This was a sad day

+1 Love to intermittently enjoy both. I just put away my Mark VIII this week to give it a rest. Using my truck again!

Old thread has surfaced & how things have changed. Just as before my 93 never replaced my truck as I still own & drive my truck daily.

After my black 93 I purchased & sold an opalescent 96, a 97 cordovan, a blue 93, 98 CE, my 97 prairie tan & lastly the recent purchase, a 97 black on black.

My Mark VIII replaced my 1991 Town Car.

Each car has their own place in my heart. Some more than others, but I really do miss the old Town Car. That thing drove like a dream and wasn't shabby merging on the highway either for a gutless SOHC. I had catback dual exhaust with an H-Pipe and Flowmaster knockoffs at the back with turn downs. It had a Viper alarm system with remote start and popped off every time in the winter even if it was -10F out.
