1980 Lincoln Versailles, 302 pretty much fully loaded, except for console and buckets.. 12000 original miles on her.. Yeah My uncle owned one and i used to love washing it for him.. Boy if this car is still for sale in the late summer it might be in my driveway.. lol..

Nice find. I know it hurt to let it pass by. I got OldSchool5, the 1988, at 12,600 miles. I ~know~ what a low miler feels like but a 1980 with that mileage is orgasmic.

that lincoln was also prey to "donor car" for mustangs, much like the mark 8.

cept the stang guys didn't want this lincolns engine, they wanted the ford 9 inch rear end with disc brakes.

It's not just the Mustang guys--the Versailles rear end is (or at least used to be) popular with the street rodders for the same reason.
