I'm supprized that with as many 100+ days you get down there that you amps dont shut off from the heat right after they start up , I know i was down in Decatur and Huntsville in late july, early august and there was a few days where i was just driving to the store and my amps cut out after about four minutes, i put a little thermometer in the trunk and checked it before i left to go some where one of the days and it was reading over 150 degrees, i'm pretty sure i used my remote start more those two weeks then i do at home in the winter.
It gets hot around here between June and Sept but it wasn't too bad this summer. I didn't know you were coming this way. I'm in Madison, in between Huntsville and Decatur. I did swap over to the 08 model ZX-1000.1 and the ZX-650.4 and put the three 10's back in. The sound difference is huge with a lot more clarity. I didn't go with the 2010 style. Same specs!
