The new mark project (lots-of-pics)

The Gen IIs dont have rear ash trays? Nice! Mine are both broke.

They're all 97, but it was from two different cars. The only thing that's not gen II is the counsel I hate double den! There really all just bolt in panels, just need to be a little creative with the wiring, but I already got the windows, mirrors, and memory seats working.

Don't worry I'm not done sanding, I just hate doing it so I wanted to turn my attn to something else. Tonight I started to working on getting the HID's installed along with a couple other odds and ends.

I also got "EDREA I" running and got it moved out of the back yard and in the drive way to start dismantling it to swap parts into "EDREA II". I did one BIG FAT BURNOUT before I killed her for good. My friend is sending me the pictures. When I get them I will post them. For those who don't know my last mark (EDREA I) was hit by hail, then the paint started to fall off and last year I hit the wall see picture below. Hence why I'm doing up a new one.

When I went back there to get her running to raise the air ride (dint want to lay frame all the way to the front of the house) I couldn't figure out what that smell was, well I went back an hour later and found a few animals that died under there. What a sad end to a great car that has served me well. I will miss it but I'm excited to get this new one going (getting married in October and were driveling that)

I have to work again so I wont be at her till next weekend. Frank I'm really sorry to here that man I have been in your guys shoes. Do you have any pictures? What will the insurance company give you? Going to stay with the Lincoln family or go elsewhere? I know Chris's mark is smashed pretty badly; all three of you guys got bitched slapped. Hope this turn out good for you guys.

The last one is the last good picture of my first love.

I might lower my car and remove the emblem because yours looks so damn good. I should really take the time to sensor lower mine

Looks like you got a good start Eric. Dunno if you've seen/spoken to Chris the last few days, but both of our cars got hit by that hail storm that went through on Saturday.... I'm hoping to have the paint done in time for CC Summer Nats.

This last year there were two marks in st paul at the CC summer nats. No mods, maybe like tint or something, but sheesh. They got no attention, so don't bother unless you have mods. I didn't even think about taking mine in there, and when I saw those marks, I had to lmao. They should regulate what gets in the gates, because I'll never go back. I walked for fuking miles and miles looking at stock junk. If I wanted to do that, I'd start walking to canada.

Just cause you can't see it doesn't mean its not moded, franks and some other guys mark is probly the ones you saw, I had the wife's GT in it last year. For some one like me who goes all 3 days it cheaper to just register the car and park inside. If you feel that way then don't come. I enjoy allot of the cars there even if some are stock.

Look at all the work I'm putting in to mine, it will be at car craft and It will look stock. But I know some will appreciate it like I do. If you don’t like walking bring a damn scooter then. I'm sure there is a Wal-mart parking lot full of gay rice you can go and jerk off to.

This........... is why car craft summer nationals is your scene and not mine. It's also why it shouldn't be called car craft summer nationals. Hoods were up, no mods.

As for the rice remark, go grow a penis.

You must not have talked to the mark owners cause two of them that where there had quite alot of mods like gears full exaust imrc delete full tune stall converter and other things. You need to talk to people not just assume they are stock and if it is stock what is wrong with looking at a nice Mark VIII
you weren't there 2 yers ago for this then I think it is a great show

Thanks for backing me up on that one Vlad (This is Vlad, isn't it?)

Mine, for the record, was probably the Ivory '98 that you saw there. Just because a mod isn't visible doesn't mean there isn't anything done. I mostly put mine in there to show that these cars are out there, they can be modified, and fun can be had with them. To my knowledge, (And this was stated by the guys from Donnybrook even), my car was the first Mark VIII they've seen go around the road course at BIR.

To each his own I guess.

/\ It's Luke, Vlad is still deported. His car is in storage somewhere. It would be nice to see that 500 hp mark again. I never got a ride in, but Luke did.

Eric any more pics of the my wifes camaro I don't have any good ones form CC
that year

I think thats all I got I will have to look more when I get home. What car are you guys putting in this year? The camaro, mark VIII or town car? I'm hopeing for the mark but I will use the wife GT again if that aint going.

I finally have a real good camra this year so if you want to get some more picture's bring the Z over.

I was there for '07, I don't recall a white one at all, but one could've been. I'm not ripping on your cars personally. Extensive mods and or paint is the car crafting I go to shows to see. Exhaust and a chip and a converter... well, .. not much to see.

We dont see too many Marks up here...its the land o rust, myself any Mark I saw at CC I would check out.
A guy can only stand so many 66 novas.
Everybody has there own tastes.
I have seen some real junk at that show.

Some how they still let the kid with a rusty cavaler in every year. I like going to the back to the 50's show but there is only two cars there, 32 ford and 54 chevy. It's still fun to walk around and I love the smell of old car's. Hopefully we I can get my model T in this year. It's stock but still cool for a 94 year old car.
