I typo for the first time in a while and now I'm stoned? So? No JK.

You have to take out the console assy. Turn it over and take out the 4 screws, 2 front each side, 2 in the center, each side. The two front ones are a tight fit, Gently slip the screwdriver ino the screw. One screw holds in the center part of the cupholder to the shell. Two screws in the bottom of the console, (in the armrest), two at the front under the ac control hold the console in.

my aquamarine did the same thing. magic shift liquid leaked out. I cleaned it off with alcohol. Drive on.
