The Tea Party might already be showing its true 'colors'

As I thought. Utter childishness.

I almost don't want to reply just so that you can have the last word you are clinging to.... Ah well, whatever you want. Let me know when you actually know what you are talking about instead of just quoting wikipedia and hoping that it means what you think.

exactly why i posted demotivs to offset them :-d

I didn't mean you don't form an opinion at all but that you rarely share it here in your posts.

Just because I don't specifically state my opinion doesn't mean that it can't be inferred from my arguments. You can learn a lot more about someone's opinion that way then in simply stating they support this or don't support that. You learn why they do or do not support something and the degree to which they do or do not support it.

In fact, I tend to share my opinion a lot more then foxy does. Why are you not jumping all over her?

When she first came to this forum she notoriously tried to not take any viewpoint. When we started calling her out is when she changed tactics. Now she claim the viewpoint that she thinks will be easiest for most on this forum to accept but her arguments hardly ever line up with her stated positions.

Is politics and policy a place for self-expression in your view? You keep going on about "original thought" and "emotion". Which is more valuable in politics in your view; cleverness or wisdom?

And all you have to do is show there is something in the enumerated powers of Congress that allows them to outlaw discrimination in certain instances by a private business.
I believe once again shag, it is the commerce clause -

You might not agree with how the Congress interprets the commerce clause - but the Supreme Court has agreed with Congress with regards to the CRA.

Since you have graduated, and probably are on your way to law school, how about doing what Thurgood Marshall and others did. You can devote a lifetime to righting a 'wrong'. The wrong in your case is the inability for private business to hang a 'White Only' sign, the inability for the majority to tyrannize and enslave the minority, the inability for business owners to create a caste system. Yep, there are certainly large amounts of wrongs that need to be 'righted' when it comes to the CRA.

Good luck.

And since you are so fond of quoting Burke...

In a democracy, the majority of the citizens is capable of exercising the most cruel oppressions upon the minority.

Liberty must be limited in order to be possessed.

Nothing turns out to be so oppressive and unjust as a feeble government.

The extreme of liberty (which is its abstract perfection, but its real fault) obtains nowhere, nor ought to obtain anywhere; because extremes, as we all know, in every point which relates either to our duties or satisfactions in life, are destructive both to virtue and enjoyment.

So, isn't the right of discrimination an extreme of liberty?

And again...

Will you answer me this...
Either you think private businesses should be allowed to discriminate or not, which one?
Shag - do you think that Title II should be struck down?

Just because I don't specifically state my opinion doesn't mean that it can't be inferred from my arguments.
yeah, but inferring takes too much thinking and you actually stating an opinion would leave you no denial room, would it.
