I am so sorry to see this; its a REAL big loss!!

I would ****ing murder the person who did this to my Mark, and my Mark is beat to **** and at the point where I just finally started fixing it up. Yours was definitely nicer than mine!

Well if you decide to part with the factory 1996 HID lights - even if its just the fixtures I will gladly buy them from you. I can hardly see with my headlights on my 94. I almost ran over a bum earlier this year that was drunk and laying flat across the middle of the alley. My lights are so dim that its pretty scary driving down dark roads, and I am forced to use my brights.

I may be interested in the dash as well.

I know you didnt mention whether or not those parts will be for sale, but I thought I would throw it out there in case you were interested in selling these, or any other parts from the car.

Again, I am very sorry for your loss... That car looks like it was pristine! I am assuming that the frame is trashed it got so bent? I am all too familiar with how tough these cars are, with my previous MN12 Tbirds and jackasses running into them.
 
pretty sure O.P is putting the parts into another of his Marks... IDK for sure though

Sorry to hear about this. I hope you find the dude and beat the living hell out of him. Years ago a "friend" took my highly modded RX-7 out and fell aspleep at what the police estimated to be 140-150mph and launched it into a field straight into some trees. Due to my cage and seats he was not hurt at all. I broke his jaw, knocked out two molars and one front tooth and detached a retna. Only ended up getting $5000 out of him after just droping $17,000 on it in a 3 month period.

Hell, VR4 (Steve) on here custom made the exhaust for that car back in Hawaii.

Mac, judges and police usually frown on vigilanty-ism.....if the driver has anything of value take him to small claims court, garnish wages....all these Online Rambos won't bail you out after you get busted for ag assault, real jail is not as cool as it looks on TV
 
This is the last time I'm opening this thread! My stomach churns inside every time I look at this car. Knowing it's mileage, it's condition, how it's owner pampered it, etc... At this point, beating the @sshole that did this to your car won't solve it. Grab him, empty his bank account & dump the money into your other Mark VIII.
