never been a fan of 2+2 back seats in a car this size and if it were black on black with the metal it would look much better

Aren't the concepts for the IX and the X at least 8 years old? Have to wonder what they would think of today?

I absolutely LOVE the Mark 9 concept car. That thing is absolutely stunning! I wish they had built it. I think the concept actually came out around 2005 or so. I read that it was originally going to be built off a strengthened DEW98 platform from the Lincoln LS. But we all know what happened to the LS. Ford said that they scrapped the MK9 because they didn't have a RWD platform to use. Unfortunately, they for got about this one:

This is the Ford Falcon from Australia. This is one bad-ass RWD machine! The only thing wrong with it is that it doesn't come in 2-door coupe form. Only 4-door sedan, wagon, and "Ranchero" style "Ute". But read the specs. This car needs to be brought to the USA! But Ford just won't do it. I don't get it. This car would kick the crap out of the Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Pontiac G8. But they just won't do it. And think of how many RWD cars could be spawned from this platform for Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury. This car could put Mercury and Lincoln back on the map again. Instead, what do we get? The MKZ. A rebodied Mazda6. The MKS. A rebodied Taurus. WTF. Lincoln is sinking ever farther into the abyss of FWD mediocrity. And there's nothing we can do about it.
