Thoughts on Yellow Fogs?????

I want to purchase the jdm yellow fog lights.

What is the issue if you run 9005 bulbs in the fog light assembly, if any?

What do people think about the Yellow fogs?
 
to me the yellow lights Scream "RICER". But its your car do it up how you feel!
 
I have not experienced any issue with 9005 in my fog lights. It just does not have the painted tip.

I think they are great. They give a modern luxury look as well as a classic European look and they are very effect considering the LS dont even have true fog lights.

How are they ricer? They have a purpose and are most common on luxury cars.

OK well, in Hawaii, where I am originally from, Honda's and anything of the like put those lights on everything. In Hawaii there a lot of imports. So I'm sorry that that is what I associate yellow lights with. I'm not going to knock him for doing it, hell it might look good at which then i would change my opinion!
 
Thats the thing, they have a function. Its higher visibility. Its not if they look good. So in actuality when you do something cause you simply feel it looks good without knowing its true function and if it serves a purpose or not thats when its rice.


Aside from that they still look good especially on bigger Luxury cars.:D

Dont they have lots of fog in Hawaii at certain times of the day? Also Hawaii is not like the US mainland. Like it or not they are influenced by Asia.:)
 
You're correct on the Asian persuasion over there, but you also stated a good fact about the rice! I never knew that about yellow fogs and so went off what they looked like! Only in the mountains of Oahu do they get fog like that all the time! but over there everything is for looks. So trust me they aren't doing it for safety. LOL actually when I lived there, I was the only one of my friends that had an american car! I had a 93 Thunderbird SC.
 
Oh, well even in places in Asia like Japan they use them more for a purpose. It does get rather fogy especially in the highlands and they are also good for snowy conditions as well.

Same with Europe thats why you see lots of older Benzes and such with yellow lights.

Asian persuasion...ha! That always sounds funny to me for some reason.
 
Yeah they make the lexus GS look real nice. Adds a clean look.

Just ordered the Nokya 9005 hyper yellow.
 
Give me a review on them please, I just burned a bulb out and I want them for the driving reasons above but I'd like to hear how well they work before I pull the trigger.

i have the yellow HID fog's and they are great. Look nice too..Nothing ricer about it......

why try to look like a Lexus by putting yellow fog lights in? If thats what you want then go buy a Lexus

I have a hid setup in my fogs and they are bright enough to use as driving lights. Dont know everyone elses problem, but do what you want and like because its your car not mine

No I didnt put my rims on for performance stupid I did it cause they look good! How ever Im sure they are good at that as they are almost weightless. Look at your POS knock off rims do they serve any performance purpose? F*ck no! Shut the f*ck up-you suck d*ck!

Driving lights you f*cking schmuck! Thats what they are and no one has a problem with that douche. Its the use as a true fog light that we are talking about you homo! You dont know sh*t and its been proven obvious time and time again!

But as far as being good for visibility, no doubt, go for it. I was going to aswell but everyone at the meets I attend keep me from doing it with their, "it'll be hawt man" bs lol.

that is what i was saying about the Hawaii crowd! but if your doing it for fogs that's one thing. For a look its another. It may turn out that they look good just that right now I am of the opinion that they look like rice! But like i said in my first post! If you like it do it. its your car. It really doesn't matter what anyone thinks!
