Jk hahahaha! Ordered me staggered set of niche's. 19x8.5 fronts with 35 offset. And 19x10 rears with 40 offset. Gotta make them fit (hopefully lol). Ok I wanted to get ur guys opinions on tire options. Been asking around with people with nice staggered 19" setups and still undecided. I know bull is/was running 235/35 fronts and 265/35 rears. Someone else running 225/40 fronts and 255/35 rears on their staggered niche setup but they both have 9.5 rears. So the options ive been seeing is either the 235/35 fronts 265/30 rears or 265/35. 245/35 fronts and 275/30 rears and I guess the list goes on. I noticed I suck at trying to figure out the right tire size so I am coming to you all. Ive done some research here and there but still undecided. Help a brotha out! Haha! Thanks guys.

P.S. I will be getting either stance coils or eibachs so yes I will be lowering my baby.

18x9.5 Jag Zeus/Vulcan wheels with 285/35 tires barely clear the inside and outside edge (lowered; Eibach). 295 is a no go so its a good judge of space. The splash guards have some minor rub marks with suspension travel. Unless the offset (60 in my case) on your 10" wide wheel is PERFECT, the wheel may hit, not just the tire. Mine seems equal clearance at 60, so if you add 1/4" wheel width on each side, you'd have to add 6.35mm and end up around 65 or 66 offset. I think I did that right anyway. It looks close! bolt your wheel up before spending money on tires. Jack the control arm up to verify clearance. Rolling the fender may make up for a small lack of offset.

You may also have to sacrifice tread width to make up for how the wider wheel clears inside the fender; this will look silly going much below 275 with a 10" wide wheel.

If the stars align and the wheel spacing is good, a 285/30/19 might barely fit (rear). 245/35/19 up front would pair well to maintain equal OD.
275/30/19 might provide a little more clearance (rear). 235/35/19 up front would pair well to maintain equal OD.

Don't go smaller than 235 unless its a snow tire and you understand the negative impact on braking/handling... and traction in general.

Use tirerack to look at the nominal wheel width for the tire and stick as close to it as possible.
Google search "miata tire calculator" to compare aspect ratio and overall diameter, etc.

Great info. Thanks! I definitely need to test fit the wheels soon. I got them in and my busy work and school shcedule hasnt even allowed time to even sit and admire them haha! Hopefully this weekend I can test fit them and go from there.

You got the wheel amd haven't check them out yet? Get on it! That's the first I would've done, just admire and picture them on my ls
