Tint Removal

Go to Auto Zone, they have this spray that comes with a blade. Like Lenn was saying you can just use Windex but don't forget the blade.

I just got done removing the tint. It was pretty easy. It took about 2 1/2 hours. I still have a few spots of adhesive on the rear window I have to get tomorrow. Thanks for everyone's help. Now I'll pay my fine and re-tint it.

Just went to court to speak with the judge about my tint fine. It was $403. Plead "guilty", judge brought it down to $150 because it was my first offense. I guess you can say I got lucky.

Am I glad I live in Arizona. They are pretty damn lenient here.
I just recently moved out here to Arizona and I was curious about how lenient they are with the window tinting here because I have been wanting to retint mine with darker tint than what I have now.

i took pics of my car before i put the tint on.. when i went to court for my tints i just showed the prior pics.. nobody really goes outside to check... i took the train to get to the court house.. :D

Lived in AZ for most of my life. The best bet is to go to a reputable tint shop and find out what current law indicates ( I am am not 100% sure as I have moved). Then make your own reasoned decision as to how far you want to push it. The reputable installers will place their decal on the tint and will stand by their tinting.

I got a ticket a couple of weeks ago and I have to remove it.
I got a fix-it ticket. Never did anything about it, I was supposed to have a patrolman sign off on it within 30 days. I figured the fine for the ticket was just as much as it would cost to have the tint removed and then put back on so I was just going to pay the fine. I never ended up getting a fine, so I never did anything. Then again, they labeled my car as a black continental. lol

Hmmmm.... lying to the court. That will probably get you in more trouble than the tint.

to get technical.. we are all paid by the same people.. same boss

that really sucks about your tint law....in Indiana your rear windows can be as dark as you want, but the front windows can only have a 25% or 28% tint. Most places around here that do tint tell you if you get a ticket they will replace it free
