Thanx for the pics. I have a black LS so I think I have to go with something darker for the front windows. But will hold off doing the tint until I get some cop freinds. Cuse it's 50% in VA where I go to school, 75%!! in NY where i live and illegal in NJ which I always drive through and in none of these places have I seen any dark tints, so there must be a reason...sux 5% looks damn goodohioLS said:

I tell you what I would kill for 5% on mine but thats what gets cops killed, cause they cant see into your ride. I am really close to 2 Sheriffs in my county and totally understand where they are coming from. Here in my county you sign a waiver and you can ride with them on patrol. Its a lil wierd pulling someone over from Indiana (10miles away) because literally almost half the cars over there have tinted windows and it truly does make it impossible to see what the driver and or his passengers are doing. So thats my justfication for not going illegal. If that helps any; good luck!

Isn't that what a spotlight is for? I mean right when they flip the lights they have that sucker aimed right at you? It's bright as fug, too.

Honestly no matter what % you put its still hard as sin to see what you are doing in there. If you have a show car is one thing but a everyday or a fair weather car with illegal tint is a d@mn good reason to pull you over and give u a ticket. I know it sucks but its the law and I doubt you raising hell about it on a forum or even in court is going to change the law. Just my .04 cents worth on this topic!

In Los Angeles the cops are lazy to pull over luxury cars. Once I recall, I made a cop back out of a parking lot since I went the wrong way. He should of game me atleast a warning but he backed out of my way..LoL.. now my otherfriend drives a mustang and gets pulled over alot!!!!! for no apparent reason.

Rumor has it (maybe from on here) that cali cops can now write tint tickets as misdemeanors or fix it tickets depending on the situation.
