I see most of you guys have tinted windshields. Has any one tried using NiteShades? I did a search and everything came up as tail lights and what not. It seems to me that this would work. Ofcourse you'd have to have an extremely even coat.

I just hope (for their sake) no one with a tinted windshield ever hits me!!!! I will be able to afford that Aston or Maserati after all........

I guess it all depends on whos fault it was and if the person with the windshield tinted has a permit for the tint. But to just jump right into a lawsuit seems like a pretty crappy thing to do to a person. Accidents happen.

Yeah, LS4me you should be a little more accepting of those willing to break the law and risk your life... sheesh.

Anything one does to limit their visibility opens them up to such things. Same with texting. I'm sure you're going to tell your insurance company you have a tinted windshield, right? If not, why not???

I was blown up a few times in Afghanistan all of which took place at night. Between the flashes of each explosion and the loudness of each it was enough to give me migraines from the glare and those HIDs some people have. Im not talking about blacking out the windshield entirely. Just a light film to dull those bright HID lights some people have.

What? Why would you spray niteshades on a window. You can get a roll of tint from walmart for like ten dollars and try it yourself.

Can you not wear special glasses for that purpose. I wear HD transisition glasses for glare and they work good.

Apparently the gaming glasses are excellent for this.... The Gunnar's.

Imo spray painting the windshield is a bad move. I Had light tint (35%) on mine and it made a great difference with oncoming lights.

i dont like glasses. i guess i was just wondering if anyone has done this or know of anyone that has. if people can dip their cars why cant you shade your windshield? im no professional anything im just looking for an opinion.

Do not use nightshades, that's asking for problems (it is still paint after all). I understand both sides of the tinted windshield debate, and know where I stand on it, but I'm not getting into that. My suggestion to you is try to get the legal paperwork to have it done, and then get some of that 80% UV blocker stuff M4rk has on his.

no reason to go cheap if it truly is a problem for you, pay to have it done and move on...

+1 on getting the Rx

Use window film, have it done, don't drive like an ass. Good luck on getting the scrupt and if you don't, not being pulled over.

I have tinted lots of windshields. Madico Certified window tinter. Only pic I got on my phone tho..
