For those of you who have removed your resonators. First ,any ill effects? Second ,how much (estimated) power does it make? Has to make some since you are improving flow. Lastly I still don't know where I can get my side markers cleared or where I can get some eyebrows. I looked but could not find at LSKoncepts.

I prefer it without the resonators. I don't know about a power increase, but it definitely sounds better:D

Click on the link in my sig to see how it sounds. It's the magnaflow kit with the resonators cut out and replaced with stainless steel tubing.

Your not going to see any power gains. Only do it if you want it a little louder.

i got rid of the mufflers and did a side dump behind the back tire... sounds very mean and is very loud. i dont know about power ive been in world war 3 with the coil packs since i got it

Ps.. misfire sounds sweet by the way lol

I'm putting the magnaflow catback on tomorrow... How loud is the kit? I've heard it on youtube, but it has resonators and I don't know what to expect.

Its pretty quiet. Just a subtle idle rumble, louder when WOT.

I was going to pul my resonators but now I'm glad I didn't. With my 4.10 gearing the higher freeway rpms drone some.

mine didnt got louder at all and didnt get any power gains.I suggest that with the money your going to spend taking the resonators off buy something else.

Thats what I was trying to say up top. lol. Thanks for reminding me what I meant to say. ;)

I was thinking off with the resonators, and in with the Walker Turbo Tubes. I had these on my '88 5.0 coupe, and it sounded real mean. Turbo Tubes are hard to find , but I have a source here in Northern Indiana who still has about 8 sets.

Take the resonators off. Cheap and it sounds much better without being very much louder. I have Magnaflow muff's and no resonators and it sounds fantastic. Very deep and refined sound. Sounds mean as hell when you are on it but subtle the rest of the time. Hardly any louder at cruise. I think doing a cone type filter was just as loud or louder than the exhaust.

Sweet info.... I didnt even have to ask my questions. Anything besides the magnaflow work well on these cars? I'm assuming the flowmasters are restrictive like usual, but sound great. Any inputs?

Since the resonators in a sense are just mini-mufflers what about keeping them in and remove the mufflers? Adding just s.s pipe and tips.

The exhaust place I brought mine to suggested that... But he normally does big 4x4 trucks...
