Touch screen nav?!?!?

I have an 05 LS with a stock single cd player, i was thinking about buying a Stock touch screen navigation unit for my Ls and was curious what was necessary to do to the car to install it, and if other parts are needed for the nav to work!?!?

If you are taking OEM Nav you are not wired for it. Anything is possible with $$$ and time but you would be better off with a aftermarket unit.

Good call, Thanks for the info, i was trying to keep everything as close to stock as possible, but i guess i will get a kenwood

Not practical.

You would need the head unit, the nav processor/DVD player that mounts in the trunk, a four channel amp (there's no speaker outputs from the factory nav head unit), the sat antenna, lots of wiring, different steering wheel buttons, different rearview mirror (has microphone built in), ...

A Pioneer AVIC-Z3 would cost less, be much much easier to install, and be much better featured.
