Hello everyone,
I am utilizing the 3.9L V8 TB TPS sensor in my build project, it's part # CTS F4SF 9B989, and I would like to be sure of the 3 wire connector wiring order.

Regardless, I'm pretty sure that the middle (white) wire is the signal, but if someone could identify which is ground and power, that would be great... I don't want to assume conventional coloration and burn something.

Or a link to electrical diagrams or service manuals would be fine also.

Here is a pic, and I labelled things... any help much appreciated:

Assuming white is signal, resistance is as follows:
white to brown-ish = 623 ohms
yellow to white = 3.57k ohms

going by that, conventional color rules apply and brown-ish is ground, yellow is power...
A confirmation would be great... :)
Thanks guys

2nd Gen is a four wire, so that must be a 1st Gen...
The gen 1 diagram shows the white wire as the signal. Of the other two, you can pick which you want for power and which for ground based on which way you want it to read.
(Looks like the LS is using brown for ground, and yellow for the positive reference.)

TPS Voltage Range?

Can someone also provide me with what the full closed/open voltages for this Gen1 TPS unit are?
I believe the TP sensor check malfunction thresholds are:
Circuit continuity - Voltage < 0.25 volts or voltage > 4.75 volts

But what should I enter as the official range for the TPS voltage (for an aftermarket ems)? .5v - 4.5v?

PC/ED manual says 0.49v (9.85%) and 4.65v (93%).
