Hi guys, so I recently replaced my transmission solenoid after 1-2 gear started shifting rough and 3-4-5 was a delayed shift, it was not throwing any codes or that E symbol at the time I had the trans flushed after I saw the condition of the fluid. Well now after doing all of that, the exact same thing is happening but now I have the E symbol, and these check check engine codes: torque converter clutch circuit electrical, shift solenoid A, shift solenoid B, Shift solenoid C, pressure control solenoid A Control Circuit low, pressure control solenoid B Control Circuit low, what the hell is causing this it almost sounds like the solenoids not plugged in but I made sure it was pretty tight, also it does take a few start ups for those codes to turn on if that matters, I really need some help with this!

I would disconnect and reconnect the harness connector again so that I could make sure it was fully and properly seated if it were me.

more than a couple of people have had problems getting it back in fully (hell some have to resort to cutting a hole in the cars floor just to get it out in the first place)

Yes and the harness wires are small and delicate. I had FORD fix the last wire that broke after I installed a new connector. The E code was gone then. don-ohio :)^)

The LS seems overly dependent on the PCM concerning the transmission. But that connector is not high quality. They'd have done better to have it clip into place,,rather than using a bolt. don-ohio :)^)

Im assuming this is one of the reasons most transmission shops around me wont even touch a LS ?

I doubt that. It's more likely that they haven't worked on any and don't want to learn for such a small number of cars.

Yet the Ford Explorer uses the same trans.

Along with what Loud suggested about the plug... I would ask if you are 100% sure the trans has enough fluid in it? This isn't a fill it until it runs out and then forget it trans fill procedure. The solenoids are active all of the time... which means they get hot. The tranny fluid helps cool the solenoid,,, so if the fluid level is low... the solenoid can get quirky if it gets hot.

Thanks for all of yalls responses, I apologize for not being online for a while, im just overly frustrated at this point and I have yet to find the motivation to fix it, still sitting in my driveway
