Trump once again inherited a stable US economy from his predecessor, so it's going to take some time for the damage he's doing to be felt really hard. He's angled the US towards a hard downward slope, so the shitshow is definitely coming.
On a funny note, Trump's already backpedaling (again) on his Apr 2nd "Liberation Day", where his 25% tariffs on all Canadian and Mexican goods tale effect, along with sweeping tariffs to European goods. That's the way to show true strength, make unhinged threats and then tuck tail over and over.

Federal investigators are revealing new information about Republican state Senator Justin Eichorn, who is accused of soliciting a teenage girl for sex, including his alleged attempts to cover up his tracks.
At his first court appearance last week, Eichorn told a judge he did not have a firearm at the residence, but newly filed court documents show FBI agents recovered a handgun and ammunition, in addition to a laptop, phone, and $1,000 cash, in his St. Paul apartment.
Federal prosecutors also described while authorities searched the apartment, a person showed up and asked to retrieve a computer from inside. She was denied and left. Later, she declined to be interviewed by the FBI. Eichorn and this person had communicated multiple times via jail phone calls, the motion states.
During one such call, Eichorn advised her "this is not like uh, a secure line, so just basic stuff," according to the motion. The two discussed phones and a computer during those calls, and she told Eichorn during one that she would "grab whatever you need me to grab," transcripts show.
A judge on Monday blocked the release of the Minnesota state senator charged with soliciting a minor, after prosecutors leveled fresh allegations that he tried to obstruct the FBI's investigation from jail.
According to Eichorn's profile, which was removed from the Senate website last week, he is married with four children. But Itasca County court records show that his wife filed for divorce Monday. He received national attention earlier this month as one of the sponsors of a bill that would have designated "Trump Derangement Syndrome" as a mental illness. -snip
