Trump Admin Illegally Deporting People

Abrego Garcia's case has drawn attention as the Trump administration has deported hundreds of people to El Salvador with help from Bukele, whose country is receiving $6 million to house the migrants in a high-security mega-prison.

The Trump admin refuses to bring back Kilmar Abrego Garcia, the Maryland man illegally deported to an El Salvadorian prison (one of the most in the world), despite our Supreme Court ruling Trump has to do it. Granted, Garcia is probably dead by now.

There's a reason why Trump invited Zelensky to the White House to attack, lie about and insult him in front of Russian television. It's what Putin wanted.

Notice how Trump hasn't called Putin to the White House and done the same, when Putin is the one who invaded, attacked and continues to do so. Trump will give Putin what he wants in Ukraine and declare it a win.

The number of overseas visitors to the US dropped by 11.6% in March compared with the previous year, including a 17.2% decline in people traveling from western Europe, according to US government data. And given much of the visibility about detentions and deportations of travelers came from mid-March onwards, that figure is due to decline even further, which would be devastating to the tourism industry and beyond.

Canadians, unhappy with Trump’s repeated threats to colonise Canada as a “51st state”, have been at the forefront of the decline. Canada’s major airlines have been forced to reduce flights to US destinations including Las Vegas, New York and Los Angeles, as bookings so far in 2025 have plunged, while car visits declined by 32% in March. -snip

eg The US, Canada and Mexico are hosting the World Cup next year. What will happen is less people will travel to games hosted in the States, going to games in Canada and Mexico instead. Billions will be lost in the US hospitality industry alone.
