If there is anyone on here that has access to full TSB details for the LS, I have a request for one. I have the exact same issue as listed on this page. Specifically "VIBRATION FELT FOR A FEW MILES OF DRIVING AFTER PARKING."

Can anyone post the full TSB for this, or at least tell me what is involved? I can't find much information about it.

TIA

I just looked in alldata and dont see anything listed for that, below is the list for 3.9, also looked under 3.0 and did not see any

TSBs aren't numbered that way. With very few exceptions they are X(X)-X(X)-X(X). I don't see any TSB referring to a vibration. Sounds like classic flat-spotting to me.

TBH that's what I thought too, but I seem to remember reading somewhere a while ago that there was a TSB that involved doing something with the steering shaft assy. However I could be totally wrong.

The flat-spotting does make sense however, and now I'm wondering if I have the original tires on my car or not, 8 year old tires could definitely be the problem. Does anyone know what the OE tire was for this car? I have Continental's I believe, but I will double-check later.

Thanks

Michelin on the 17" and Continental on the 16".

Age doesn't have as much to do with flat-spotting as does aspect ratio. Anything with a ratio of 50% or less will flat-spot; the lower the ratio the greater the chance of flat-spotting. The flat spot should go away after 5 or more miles.

OK thanks, this is the first car where I have had this low of a profile on my tires, so it makes sense now. I have the 17" stock chrome wheels so the fact that I have Continental tires means they've at least been replaced once during it's lifetime.

As long as the flat-spotting is the explanation then I'm not worried, it's just that after I came across that TSB I was a little worried.

Thanks everyone for the feedback!
