Turbo kit thread

That is beyond incredible! Sounds like an F16 from Hell!

I think there will be quite a few performance-oriented 2-doors out there that may have second thoughts about taking this on.

Please refrain from posting negative comments? There are always those who post negative comments. no matter what the subject is. You (he) should simply ignore them, there is no need for censorship.
 
over 300 post of ego stroking, boner inspiring, car porn and someones feelings got hurt over a couple of questionably negative comments? this is the internet here, i could be giving away a house to a family that lost everything they had in some disaster and get more negative feed back than this thread has had.

this thread could be as simple as "post a positive comment and receive a brick of gold" and there will be at least one jack wagon out there that will say something bad.

man i didn't realize that the peoples republic of kalifornia were now taking away people's right to expressing their own opinion away. i guess i will just settle with my 4 feet of snow per year then!

seems awesome and all but the only problem I have with is is the price per horsepower. I would want at least 400 at the wheels to pay that kind of scratch
 
I just looked back and I can't find any negative comments? Maybe I missed them, but either way your LS sounds amazing. The turbo sound alone is nearly enough justification to get this kit! haha.
 
Sounds great!! And shows the difficulties inherent in trying to add components to an already-overcrowded engine compartment.

How much boost do you intend to run?

Something set them off, it happened, I just dont want all the performance mods that are in the works to be cut short because of one guy, not saying it's you. All the regulars have posted nothing but excoted and positive comments.

Thanks! I have not driven it yet and since it's an hour away, it's a little hard for me to be there everyday drooling over it.

If you want to try and make your own for cheaper, with this quality, you can try, I'm sure Brett will help you and walk you through it. But I really doubt you will, these guys have spent so many hours trying to perfect this kit and they are getting there.

Something set them off, I dont want my thread to be the cause of them not helping the ls guys anymore. Yeah turbo sounds great, I got a huge smile and chills when I heard it.

Not sure on the boost, they are trying to get the most out of the kit and the engine safely. Once it gets on the dyno and everything is done, a lot more info will be available.

I'm not going to even try to make my own right now, and it's the same reason I'm not going to get nearly the results I would expect to see for that kind of money,

don't get me wrong it is really awesome and I'm glad someone crused that "no you cant" mantra the ls wants to have,

I still havent cracked 13s N/A bro! lol I blew the motor in my Jeep DD so work has stopped on the LS, Im going for gears and a higher stall and if that dont do it Im gonna spray it. Would be cool to have two WHITE turbo'd cars on the board tho :D Yea, Im a black LS hater :p

Congrats on getting it built and everything, you should ask them to take a brake boosted launch video, even if it rapes your tire :D

Oh yeah, my bad, it was 13's you wanted to crack not 12's. So what happen to the rear end, no more lsd or you already made the conversion?

Eureka..... It sounds amazing so what's next is it the dyno and tunning, the ls looks amazing but I must admit it looks weird not having the fogs there but I will trade fogs for turbo anytime. So in their professional opinion how much hp gain will this car do, what do they expect, and also the wheels look mighty close to that toobing but I guess its a game of inches so its all good.

Also for you guys that are working in this and not getting paid I think I speak for most of peeps at this forum and would like to extend my thanks and appreciation for your work fir us that have been members for a long time here, this forum has gotten a little boring since most of the stuff has been covered but you guys have brung new life to this forum.

Trying to find a 8.8 housing that wont cost me $250 and come with the whole axle assembly, got the gears and tracloc already, I can weld, and Im gonna try a couple tricks with the driveshaft.
 
They are just working out the little bugs, should be back soon.Labor day pushed it back little, but they are working on it. Can't wait to get it :cool:.
