yes, LS of the year, definately
Ok guys sorry about taking so long to get back with some results, but on the bright side, I've had enough time to drive it around the last few day and see what the difference is in ride and driveability. The verdict... I cannot tell any difference. The car still rides like it did with the Eibachs not cut. I am very pleased with the results and the amount we calculated and cut off to get it right. The LS springs do taper at one end of the spring, but you cut the other end and it sits fine in the top. Also, the springs are not flat on the top like other vehicles, so that was not an issue. All I will say is that I am very pleased with the results and didn't have any issues. But you guys will be doing this at your own risk. BC if you take too much off, there's no going back. And also keep in mind my car has a different engine and transmission in it also, so the amount needed to be cut off the springs might be different on a v6 or v8 factory motor. But enough of the technical crap, here are some pics!
I wouldn't go that far. But I appreciate the support.
why not???
(a) its black
(b) its got a 06 front end
(c) its lowered with great wheels and fitment
(d) its tinted out
(e) it has a manual trans
(f) and it has a real V8, american made with real power potential
if you can find me another LS that beats all of this, then he can have LS of the year, until then its all yours!
the only other LS i would put in front of yours would be the wide body with the blown 4.6, except for (a) he is not on here and you are, and (b) that was around last year or the year before.
