That sucks. I got mine when he brought them back :cool:

I guess you'll have to wait for him to make another group buy, they sell quick so keep your eyes open.
 
He keeps saying he wont because of no interest.

Im interested and so are many others so i dunno whats the deal.
 
Really? Last time he made them he sold them fast, I thought I wasn't going to get a set.

Maybe you should start a thread in both sections to see the interest and show him there is, if there is enough.
 
I PMed him and he basically told me that he was never selling them again. I even offered him $100 for one set but told me there was absolutely nothing left.

I think something happened to the company he was working with, but I could be wrong.
Hopefully more interest will spark, so we can get something going.
 
Im sure they can be made by another company.

He'll give you permission to use it if it's for personal use, not to sell. I was going to have someone make a few copies for me and he said it was ok. Just make sure you ask him before using his design
 
I PM'ed him about making some to sell or even to make them for his company to sell but I don't think he wants to deal with it. He told me that only his company could have them made for themselves. Now if you are making some for personal use then idk what he could do. It's when you start selling them that you'll run into problems!
 
Well you make one and show him your work and just give him a percentage of the profit for letting you use it. Your work is more on the helping Lvc out than trying to make money off of this, I think, right?

100 bucks huh? I do have one set of them I've never installed :cool: Been meaning for months too cause they are sweet! But I'm having trouble putting them on my LS.

Haha I was just being frantic when I realized he was sold out, and at that point my bartering skills drop to nothing.

I may not mind spending err... maybe $50-60 for a set of 2 since they're unavailable now. PM me.

How are you having trouble putting them on your LS?

Yeah I guessed you had exaggerated a bit with that statement. Not always easy to barter when all you have to offer is money, it just doesn't motivate some people.

I will consider selling them... have to think on it for a while.

When I said I had trouble putting them on I meant the idea of it, not physically had trouble. I drive the same car you do ('04 v6). Just don't think of it as much of a "hot rod Lincoln" is all. They are a bit more fitting on the Mark8, with the 4.6L v8 and all. But damn they are HOT. I just had to have a set... great design.

Yeah, I hear ya. If I had the money, I'd throw in the jag engine in a heartbeat or just buy an 06' LS.

I wish I had the patience to find a gen2 V8 when I was in "car buying mode", but I was sold on the black interior in mine which nicely fits with the silver exterior. I also tell myself that the gen2 V6 isn't that far behind a gen1 V8. :cool:

Anyway, hot emblem would sit well on a hot car. Screw Marks:p

Okay, when I was in "LS buying mode". I went to a lot of dealerships only looking for an LS. I laughed when the mindless salesmen pointed me towards a town car. I was like "Dude, I'm only 18" and moved on to the next one.

One dealership within 25 miles of me had 3 LS's while the rest had nothing, and in NJ there's a mad amount of dealerships within a few miles. That's where I got mine, the others were a white gen1 v8 that was being driven by the head salesman and the other was actually a gen2 v8, but it's color would only remind me of the shi**y 98' contour I was getting rid of.
