Upgraded the daily beater

No, I argue about things I have heard. The guy I speak of with the 04 has a buddy that he fishes with all the time that picked up an 09 for towing the Crestliner and he ran a 15 flat in it at the track. That was his best time along with a bunch of low 15s. Then again, we are at an altitude disadvantage here and the track goes UPHILL.

My bad, I've heard about what these trucks have done in real life and came on here and argued with a bunch of guys that have no timeslips and never raced them. Shame on me. Either way, have fun with it.

No you are doing much worse than that you are taking one example of something and using it as a basis to spout your opinion of the whole category. You said yourself its a bad track, is it a 2wd or 4wd, is it a long bed or short bed, regular, quad, or crew cab. By your frame of mind if one person doesn't have any side effects during a drug test no one else will right? I am not trying to be a dick. I personally could care less if it ran a 20 sec quarter mile, that's not why I bought it, but when people make uninformed generalized statements it bugs me.

See, that's the problem right here.

My bone stock 1500 with 3.55 gears, heavy 20" chrome wheels, and bunch of weight addons run 14.71@ 92.80mph just few weeks ago against stocks lincolns not being able to brake 14s. First time out, 750 miles on the odo. You've seen the timeslip already, so shush :D

These trucks suffer a lot from stock 3.55 gearing. One way to even it out is to ran smaller 17" wheels and corresponding DRs. My close buddy Josh's R/T with stock (to r/t) 4.10 gears went 13.77@98mph.

In case you forgot we're talking about 5000lbs trucks LMAO .
