V6 Guys Highest MPG

My first roadtrip in my 02 ls V8 I got 26.8 average on 2 tanks of gas...very baby driving though

I get 25-31 depending on how much I'm in the throttle,,but with intake an exhaust I'm in the throttle alot......

BTW, the LS has an 18 gallon tank right? Without the message center, it's hard to know how much gas is left. When the needle gets to the red, I think there are still 2 gallons left or so..?

My 2002 V6 5spd manual is getting just under 20 with avg 335 miles out of a tank with in-town driving.. lots of stop and go.

On the last road trip.. constantly between 90-100 I was just over 25 mpg. That was also before my modded intake and synthetic oil though.

I would still like to do more though to increase my mpg... exhaust, and a tune-up should help.
