I changed the plugs on my car and they were dipped with oil, which I know is the valve cover gaskets. I bought the parts off ford, left and right, am I missing the o rings, and the center pieces or is this different than my LS8? I know more parts were involved when the V8 was being worked on...

Also after removing the intake manifold, is it hard to change the valve cover gaskets on my own?..

Thanks...

There are inner and outer gaskets for the valve covers on the V6, no O-rings. I only changed the inner gaskets when I did mine and all has been well since.
The gaskets are not difficult to change, if you have the expertise to disassemble the intake, they are a piece of cake.

Thanks.

I was debating whether I could do it on my own or not. I have changed the plugs before, thats when I noticed the oil. I'm going to go ahead and do it on my own then, I have taken the intake off twice.

Thanks for the immediate reply.
