V6 to V8 engine swap

Alittle late he already found out it came V8 and maybe had another v8 put in. :)
 
The car will have been at the trans shop 2 weeks tomorrow. I am getting so pissed with these guys. Gonna give them a call in the morn to see whats up.
 
A little update ........The trans shop completed the rebuild, including replacing the solinoid pack and netrule safety switch. Same problem this fixed nothing. After having the car 3 weeks with the car they finnaly said they don't know and wouldn't charge me for anything. Great new trans and nothing fixed. A week agoe i took the car to an electrical auto shop, he checked the wires and said they looked ok. He then said it has to be the cpu it self so i got a second hand one , they sent to the dealer today to be reprogramed......guess what still have the same problem........
 
Be an interesting individual, I mean theres enough problems with these cars as they are can only imagine trying to troubleshoot not just the usual problems but then the swapping motors, tranny and all the electrical stuff.

Then again if you are desperate and broke enough, I would do it or at least try. :)
 
New update.......Car is fixed a 5.60$ spring in the valve body was the fix. The trans shop didn't charge me for the trans job so the new shop is at about 500.00$ in labour. I am fine with that........

How do you rebuild a transmission and miss that?

Wouldn't you pull the valve body and completely disassemble and inspect it before going any further?

Yeah thats what i thought..... if i had paid i would have been mad.. BTW i don't recomend MR Transmission to anyone......:shifty:
 
took the car on the highway trans light came on same thing.... i am gonna drive this car into a brick wall ...............fcuk ................fcuk..........
