V8 swap On a V6 Shell Done!!!!!!!!!!11

Just wondering does all the info section in the V8 cluster work? Also you would have to make sure 100% that junkyard does not cut up the V8 engine harness, they usually cut them up pretty good.Also you needed the front cat pipe assembly too correct ,does that bolt up to the rear part of v6 exh? Also state I live in junkyards cannot sell used Cat pipes its against the law. Did you get yours from boneyard?
i been doing research on a manual tranny but none found you would have to get a mustang manual tranny and put it in our ls housing the differences is the housing and i am working on that just give me time ....

I know this is an old thread, however I recently acquired a gorgeous 01 LS V6. After barely a week the 3.0 threw a rod through the oil pan
I'm interested in swapping the 6 banger with the 3.9 V8 same gen of course. Could you Please, Please provide any more information in detail, with more pics of your swap?? Is it really as simple as transferring all harnesses,brackets and mounts? The trans is the same, so the driveshaft fit? How much fabrication was involved for instance with the motor mounts? Any more info will be highly valuable, thanks again! -Paul
